Heidi Price graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in illustration. Her interest in drawing began as a child; by age six, Heidi was borrowing her father's "from the desk of" pads to draw shoes and plaid patterns.
Along the way, she became serious about studying illustration and developed a particular love for black line, as well as "immediate gesture" drawing. These elements continue to shape Heidi's distinctive line of charming, stylish commissioned drawings. The immediacy of a napkin-based sketch is often the starting point for elegant illustrations that make invitations, cards and personalized papers memorable.
